This book is in its third reprinting and this is the best one yet. It has been revised and had additional information added by Barry C. Weaver and Michael A. Quigley. This book is the only source in English to give information and pictures of the Japanese Orders, Decorations, and Medals. Every medal is pictured and there are eight full-color plates in the center of the book which show some of the really rare Grand Cross set issued by the Japanese and their associated states (Korea and Manchukuo ). This is a must for any medal collector or historian interested in the Japanese awards and decorations.
